January is School Director Recognition Month! Some 4,500 school directors serve Pennsylvania’s 500 public school districts, and 16 percent of these directors also serve on career and technical school boards. The GACTC’s school board is called the Joint Operating Committee (JOC), and is comprised of 20 representatives from our eight sending schools.
