ADDITIONAL DIPLOMA ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Along with our other adult-only full time programs, adults may apply to vocational or technical programs taught primarily to high school students. This type of training is referred to as “Intergenerational.”

Full-time intergenerational study consists of classes operating five hours daily, from 8:15 a.m. – 10:50 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. to 2:40 p.m., for 180 days during the high school academic year. Students have the opportunity to earn industry certifications (which vary by program), learn from our industry-trained staff, and receive a diploma upon successful completion of the program requirements.

In addition to the technical course of study, students also participate in a career readiness course.

Students participating in an intergenerational program may participate in an optional internship as part of the training. An internship provides students the opportunity to gain experience and get a jump start in the career for which they are studying. Participation is granted to those students who maintain good attendance, achieve satisfactory grades, complete academic requirements, and obtain their instructor’s recommendation.

Please click on the program titles below to learn more about our intergenerational programs available to adult students. Enrollment in the intergenerational programs is based on availability.
