In May, the GACTC celebrated the accomplishments of 46 postsecondary students that successfully completed career-training programs ranging from automotive technology to welding. We recognized students graduating from the following diploma programs:
- Automotive Diesel
- Automotive Technology
- Carpentry/Construction
- Computer & Networking Technology
- Electrical Trades
- Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning
- Outdoor Power Equipment Technology
- Welding with Print Reading
Collectively, our 46 graduates:
- Completed more than 41,400 training hours in these programs!
- Earned over $197,551 in grant funding towards tuition!
- Twelve students participated in an internship experience during the last term of the program.
Students had the opportunity to gain industry-valued certifications including:
- OSHA 10-hour
- Ford ACE
- EPA 608 and 609
- PA Vehicle Safety Inspector & Vehicle Emissions Certification
- Stihl Bronze Level
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Security+
- Toyota Certification Program
- PA Builders Association Skills Certificate
- American Welding Society(AWS) GMAW 2W, FCAW 3G, and SMAW 3G
- North American Technician Excellence (NATE) Core Certification
